Join our established and growing business as a Forklift Operator at our Toowoomba depot. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for moving our freight with a focus on safely unloading tautliners. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with proven experience in loading multiple trailers. This Full-Time Permanent role offers job security in an established and passionate team where support and guidance is provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Efficiently and safely load general freight from body trucks and trailers
2. Work Monday to Friday on the night shift with a start time between 9:30pm - 5:06am.
3. Ensure trailers are maximised for linehaul transportation
4. Ensure strapping and securing freight trailers is done correctly and safely
5. Follow a postcode sheet to place unloaded freight into the correct bays
6. Maintain a steady work pace to meet departure times and maintain accuracy
7. Adhere to established safety standards and guidelines

What You Need:
1. Previous experience in a similar, fast-paced role
2. Ability to maximise trailers to full utilisation
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a postcode sheet for correct freight placement
4. Ability to pass a criminal history check
