This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading 6 month contract Extensions available Some travel required The Court Technology Renewal team is responsible for the continual rollout of audio visual (AV) technology in Queensland Courts to facilitate the operation of the courts. This in-court technology provides capabilities such as audio amplification, evidence presentation, recording and transcription, telephone, and video conferencing. Your key responsibilities As the AV Project Officer, you will:* Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for upcoming projects based upon theestablished design briefs and the approved program plan. The documentation provides essentialinformation as part of the Request for Quote provided to AV Suppliers.* Review and endorse AV Supplier solution proposals, bills of materials, technical specifications, andcourtroom layout plans to ensure project deliverables are consistent and to the required qualitystandard.* Provide technical advice to AV Suppliers as the AV systems they have newly installed arecommissioned and brought onto the clients infrastructure.* Undertake User Acceptance Testing of newly completed installations on behalf of Courts AudioVisual team, as required.* Assist in the review of established AV designs, including researching alternative technologies thatmay deliver increased functionality to court users and/or reduce technology costs. Providecontinuing market monitoring and analysis ensuring that relevant colleagues are notified ofsignificant technological shifts within the AV space.* Undertake investigations and identify solutions to new and emerging technical challenges usingsubject matter expertise to create recommendations and designs for approval.* Ensure correct management and storage of financial and project documentation in accordance withgovernment and local policies.* Successfully undertake a range of assigned tasks in an environment of competing priorities,ensuring effective communications are maintained and expectations managed.* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the CTR Branch, externalsuppliers and vendors, and court users.
