Heard McEwan Legal are looking to appoint a full-time Accounts Clerk.
The successful applicant will be involved in managing the trust and office accounting for the firm. The role includes but is not limited to:
* Management of daily trust processes, including bank reconciliations, trust/office receipts/payments and trust/office transfer requests;
* Various month-end procedures and reporting;
* Assistance with GST, BAS lodgement, and budgeting;
* Preparation and posting of bills;
* Managing accounts receivable and payable;
* Payroll maintenance.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in trust accounting or general accounting is preferred.
* Proficiency in legal practice management systems (experience with Lexis Nexis Affinity is highly valued).
* Efficient and competent in Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition.
* Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and able to work independently.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
