As one of the leading providers of secure AI products, and builders of large language models and other cutting-edge AI technology, we provide a highly innovative and vibrant culture.Based in Canberra, Sydney, or Adelaide, this role requires frequent travel and flexibility to work outside standard Australian business hours, as you collaborate on a global scale.About the RoleAs the CSO, you will define and implement a global sales strategy aligned with Trellis’ mission, leading the full sales cycle to drive growth across sectors like law enforcement, logistics, law firms, and universities.Key ResponsibilitiesImpactful Sales Leadership: Design and execute a global sales strategy; coach and develop the sales team to achieve targets.Full-Cycle Sales Oversight: Lead the sales process from pipeline building to deal closure, ensuring KPIs and revenue goals are met.Partnership Development: Foster alliances with tech vendors, research institutions, and industry partners.Collaborative Product Demonstration: Partner with the CTO and CIO to deliver impactful product demos and showcase AI solutions.Bid and Tender Management: Collaborate on sales materials, bids, and tenders with the CFO and Marketing.Cross-functional Coordination: Ensure seamless customer onboarding and support with the Chief Client Officer.Event Management: Maximise ROI from conferences and events in partnership with Marketing.Who You AreA seasoned leader with a strong track record in high-growth tech, you bring a global perspective and the ability to drive impactful sales strategies. You understand market dynamics and thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
