We also draw on KPMG's extensive national and global resources, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of a configuration-driven data migration framework on the Azure cloud platform. The data migration framework will leverage Azure technologies including Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Sparq, Python, and PowerBI. This framework will enable comprehensive data profiling to evaluate and pinpoint data quality concerns. It will facilitate the extraction of data from legacy systems, as well as its transformation and subsequent loading into the target system. Additionally, the framework will support both business and technical data reconciliation processes to confirm the successful migration of all data.Your OpportunityAs a member of our Technology and System Integration team, the Data Migration Technical Lead will play a crucial role with two primary responsibilities: leading the development of the data migration platform and overseeing its application across multiple client engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Lead the design and development of a configuration-driven data migration framework on the Azure cloud platform.
2. Collaborate with the offshore engineering team to build and enhance the data migration platform.
3. Define and implement best practices for platform architecture, development, and deployment.
4. Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure to meet the needs of diverse client projects.
5. Provide enablement, support, and guidance to Data Migration Engineers using the platform in the delivery of Data Migration engagements.
6. Oversea data migration technical delivery across Data Acquisition & Cleansing, Data Mapping & Transformation, Data Validation & Load, and finally reconciliations and reporting phases.
7. Engage with internal data migration teams as well as directly with clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver tailor-made solutions.

Your Experience
10. Proven experience as an Azure Data Migration Specialist within enterprise scale environment.
11. Demonstrated experience of converting business requirements and use cases into technical solutions.
12. Deep knowledge of how to design, implement and optimize ETL processes, conduct detailed data modelling, design data warehouse, and design & build data pipelines in Data Factory/ Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric.
13. Hands-on experience working in complex data warehouse implementations using Azure SQL Data warehouse, Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
14. A proven ability to build resilient, tested data pipelines with data quality monitoring embedded (DataOps)
15. Experience of Data lake and Data warehousing solutions and architectures and low-level design principles
16. Comfortable in an Agile working environment and using Scrum project management.
Desired skills
17. Certification in Azure or related technologies.
18. Knowledge of security best practices for data protection and compliance.
19. Experience implementing COTS or SaaS based applications, such as SAP, Oracle ERP or Microsoft Dynamics.
