The Data and Digitalisation Branch at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communication and Engagement Specialist to lead digitalisation programs and drive the business transformation journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans, producing, editing, and managing high-quality content for contemporary platforms such as SharePoint and utilising business analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies. The role also involves overseeing multiple communication projects to ensure alignment with CIT’s Digital Transformation Strategy.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic communication plans.Produce, edit, and manage high-quality content to support teaching and learning.Utilise business analytical skills to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.Collaborate with various stakeholders (including educators) to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital communication.Eligibility/Other Requirements:Large scale, complex communications and engagement experience highly desirable.Degree qualified or equivalent preferred.Digital and non-digital communications experience highly desirable.Event Management experience highly desirable.Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
