The Role
We are looking for quality and talented Sommeliers, Wait Staff and Hosts to join our teams on a full-time basis. We have roles available at a variety of our venues and there is an opportunity to join at different levels at our venue in Lorne. This is a chance to join a company where you will learn and progress in your career.
To be successful in one of these roles you will need the following experience and attributes:
* 2+ years of relevant experience in the industry
* Confident with customer engagement; including greeting guests, ability to learn and discuss food and beverage menu, taking orders and serving guest
* Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bistro, or hotel
* Ability to work closely with kitchen and bar staff
* Understanding of setting and clearing tables to a high standard, managing multiple tables in one service, and pre-empting the guests needs
* Experience using point-of-sales machines, taking payment
