Join us with this rare career opportunity to make a difference and leave a legacy, helping today's children navigate their tomorrow.Job DescriptionAbout the roleThe role will be responsible for the management and accuracy of our JAG Australia payroll (3,500+ employees) and the leadership of a payroll team of 2 payroll officers. We have started the implementation of Micropay and expect to go-live during April 2025. The current Senior Payroll Manager is transitioning to manage the payroll implementation project so will be available for handover, so you don't land in the role without support from a manager experienced in our business and our payroll.In this role, you will also:Identify and lead opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate the payroll processes to deliver a return on investment.Understand systems integration with the payroll platform including Human Force (rostering, time and attendance) and other People systems (e.g., Smart Recruiters).Run and maintain the new Micropay platform post-implementation.Provide management reporting to JAG up to and including board reporting.Work closely with our Finance team to deliver payroll financial reporting and integration.Identify, develop and implement payroll governance improvements.Build a cross-trained payroll team that can support each other during leave and short notice absences.About youYou might have worked in OSHC or other ECEC business, Retail, Hospitality, Aged Care or Health where you have dealt with a large casual workforce working under an Award.
