Non-ongoing - Full Time - EL1 $112,581 - $121,664 Campbell, ACT The Role The ITSA is responsible for information security investigations and the implementation and monitoring the compliance of information security policies and procedures. The role will take lead on complex and high-risk investigations and reporting on vulnerabilities that exist in the Memorial as well as provide risk management advice to inform strategic programs. This role works closely with the Information Technology section of the Memorial to ensure cyber-related policies and practices are implemented. Core Responsibilities Under general direction from the Head of IT, the ITSA will be responsible for: Understanding and implementing the requirements of the Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and Essential 8 in line with the Memorial’s risk appetite and operational environment. Identifying, assessing, and managing cyber security risks on behalf of the Memorial, liaising with relevant stakeholders, as required including the coordination or conducting of cyber security reviews and audits. Contributing to security measures for projects and procurements at the Memorial, including the provision of advice for information and cyber security risk management arrangements. Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are established for the protection of digital information and systems. In conjunction with the AWM IT team, ensuring the agency’s ICT systems are protected against unauthorized access or compromise, and that digital information is processed and communicated in accordance with relevant requirements. Developing a cyber-security awareness program and relevant training to ensure AWM staff are aware of their cyber security obligations. Responding to and managing cyber security incidents and ensuring they are reported as required, including assisting AWM staff during a cyber-security incident. Preparing cyber security reports for the ASE or security committees, contribute to cyber security updates for AWM reports.
