The Company:
Our client is a well-known not-for-profit organisation. With the recent growth, the team is seeking an additional support in Payroll department. As a Payroll Officer and working in a team of 3, you will be responsible for processing payroll on a fortnightly basis. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.
Role:
1. Process payroll accurately and efficiently on a fortnightly basis, including calculations for terminations, super, PAYG, and deductions.
2. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all changes and updates are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
3. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
4. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, super, deductions, and leave.
Qualifications and Skills:
5. Previous experience as a Payroll Officer in an end to end capacity
6. Strong knowledge of relevant WA legislation.
7. Advantageous to have experience Chris software.
8. Prior experience in Aged Care Industry will be an added advantage.
9. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
10. Strong organizational and time management skills, able to meet strict deadlines.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
