About The Role As Facilities Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person ensuring our buildings, equipment, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained. You'll oversee contractors, manage maintenance schedules, and jump in to solve issues before they become problems.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate routine and preventative maintenance across multiple sites in the ISPT portfolio Liaise with local contractors, suppliers, and council when needed Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Monitor budgets, maintenance logs, and facility usage Be the point of contact for urgent repairs and facility-related inquiries Assist the National Facilities Administration Hub with FM specific administrative tasks as required Conduct site inspections and complete associated reports Be a point of contact for retail partners and other external stakeholders for HSE, maintenance, security and other building related issues Assist with onsite incident reporting, investigation and close out Occasional Travel within the North Qld region We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience in facilities, maintenance, or property coordination, or a similar environment with a passion to learn Is organised, proactive, and great with people Knows Townsville and understands the local environment Bonus if you have: Trade qualifications, WHS training, or prior experience in building services
