About the Role
IQVIA is seeking an Account Manager to join its ANZ Key Account Management team. As an Account Manager, you will work under supervision, contributing to sales efforts for IQVIA products and services within allocated accounts.
Main Responsibilities
* Achieve assigned revenue targets and ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the client service team and internal IQVIA offering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding and addressing clients' needs by proposing multiple fit-for-need solutions.
Key Functions
1. Understand the key priorities of the client to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned account(s) or sales territory.
2. Act as an advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues, trends and IQVIA product, consulting and service capabilities based on long-term relationships with clients.
3. Anticipate clients' needs and develop proposed solutions to clients' complex business issues in collaboration with IQVIA marketing, sales specialists, consulting and client service.
4. Identify and lead the pursuit of targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s).
5. Interface with marketing, market research, sales management and/or IT at the executive level in existing and prospective clients.
6. Represent the company to the client and the client to the company in all sales-related activities.
7. Monitor client satisfaction with contracted deliverables and work with sales management and Client Service's management to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. Effectively manage renewals and subscriptions.
9. Mentor less experienced members of the sales team on selling, account management and negotiations skills.
10. Proactively work with global and regional account management in the pursuit of multi-country opportunities.
11. Take a proactive role in contract strategy.
Qualifications and Skills Required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of proven Account Management experience.
* Recent experience in Oncology; rare diseases; brain disease.
* Basic knowledge of IQVIA core products, customer account management, and familiarity with IQVIA information solutions/services portfolio will be an advantage.
* Exceptional communication and listening skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling data-driven decision-making.
* Demonstrated strength in collaboration, fostering teamwork across departments.
* Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and being process-driven.
