We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to join the Masterplanned Communities team in our Sydney office.
The role involves driving profit centre performance by delivering projects within cash flow and profit return benchmarks while integrating and consistently delivering health, safety, and sustainability measures that support successful projects.
This role will be responsible for considering and driving strategy, including providing strong engagement with key stakeholders to ensure support for the project vision and agreed outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively manage all aspects of project launch and delivery
* Foster cross-divisional collaboration to maximize overall profitability
* Work with project teams to improve the customer experience along the customer journey and ensure professional and timely management of customer issues
* Manage the strategy and implementation of various aspects of the sales and marketing process
* Promote and model Stockland's continued commitment to and leadership in sustainability and support the delivery of a community and environmental shared value proposition
* Continually monitor market and competitor activity in relation to the direction and performance of the project, implementing product changes in conjunction with members of the cross-functional project team when applicable to maintain competitiveness
* Develop a team culture that delivers high-value-add outputs and an environment where people excel
* Proactively identify key business risks and initiate risk mitigation strategies
About You:
* Degree qualified in a related discipline
* Experience within multi-disciplinary teams with an adaptive collaborative style
* Project, planning, cost, and risk management expertise
* Development industry knowledge and expertise in residential land or similar
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Commercial acumen and significant forecasting and financial management
* Customer-centric, focus on data analytics and insights to inform decision making
* Self-motivated and results-focused
