Great, here’s what E80 Group can offer you. The Automation Technician will be part of the Customer Service Operations team at E80 Group, responsible for all after-sales activities. This role primarily involves maintaining, repairing, modifying, upgrading, and performing preventive checks on various machines installed at our clients' sites. In particular, this role will require approximately 70% travel to customer sites in the Melbourne area, with the remaining 30% spent visiting clients across Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities • Keep all E80 system components running smoothly through regular inspections and maintenance, whether scheduled or due to breakdowns. • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks. • Perform corrective maintenance or troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machines. • Calibrate or configure individual machines or devices. • Handle partial or complete upgrades or modifications on outdated systems. • Prepare reports and spare parts lists after completing work. • Monitor the E80 system's performance, reporting any problems or issues to the appropriate managers. Technical Requirements • Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation. • Proven experience as an electrical, electromechanical, or service technician in automation or manufacturing environments. • Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings. • Experience, even if limited, with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and/or FANUC control systems would be a bonus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and independently. • Flexibility, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure. Other Requirements • English (advanced or native level). • Ability to perform electromechanical work, including at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training). • UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. • A-grade Electrical license. • Permanent rights to work in Australia, with no restrictions. • Valid driver’s license (B).
