The RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented QC Chemist with a passion for quality and innovation to join our dynamic lab team on a full-time, 12 month contract.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced lab setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesReporting regularly to the Lab Manager on laboratory functioning, equipment requirements, consumable budget within the laboratory areaManaging individual laboratory quality test schedule in conjunction with the Lab Manager to meet product specifications, manufacturing schedule and performance expectationsProviding scientific support to quality initiatives and research and development initiativesConducting routine quality control laboratory functionsLiaising with Lab Manager on all laboratory testing and quality issuesInvestigating non-conforming data with particular emphasis on root cause analysisIdentifying and/or correcting any potential non-compliance in the laboratory environmentAbout YouTertiary qualification in chemistry or a related science disciplineMinimum of 2-3 years+ experience in the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry or similarStrong experience in analytical instrumentation & troubleshootingSolid IT skills associated with troubleshooting instrument software and hardwareSound knowledge of, or the ability to acquire, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines are metStrong attention to detail, displaying a philosophy of continuous improvementStrong communication skills with the ability to provide quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholdersWhat We Offer YouBe part of a growing company that values innovation and excellenceSupport for your health and wellbeing via our comprehensive 'MyWellbeing' programAccess to learning and development opportunitiesGenerous staff discounts on our product rangeAccess to healthy snacks, free lunches and a day off every year to celebrate your birthday!On-site parking
