Position Summary: As an On-Call General Logistics, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Airbnb properties.
This role requires a versatile individual with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
You will be contacted on an as-needed basis to address maintenance and repair issues promptly.
Key Expectations: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
Address and resolve various repair needs promptly to ensure the properties are in top condition for guests.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests promptly to minimize inconvenience to guests.
Assist with the installation of new fixtures, appliances, and furniture as needed.
Maintain the exterior appearance of properties, including gardening, lawn care, and minor landscaping tasks.
Maintain an inventory of necessary supplies and tools, and notify management when new supplies are needed.
Collaborate with property managers, cleaners, and other team members to ensure seamless property operations.
Furniture Assembly Deliver and pick-up of consumables and linen as required Pest Control Pressure washing of properties Rubbish disposal Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman, or a related field.
Proficient in a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
Own a basic set of tools (hand tools, power tools, plumbing tools, carpentry tools, miscellaneous tools, safety tools, supplies) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate guest needs and emergency situations.
Strong verbal communication skills to interact with property managers and guests when necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
High attention to detail to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between properties.
Previous experience working with Airbnb or short-term rental properties.
Certification or vocational training in a related field.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, perform physical labor, and work in various weather conditions.
