Welcome to Moorebank
Construction is now well underway for our new Moorebank NDC (MoNDC). Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 46,000 sqm facility - equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This will strengthen Primary Connect’s national supply chain and service to over 1000 Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia.
What you’ll do
You’ll play a pivotal role as the MoNDC Site Commissioning Lead, reporting to the Head of NSW Network Transformation. Working alongside the Site leadership team and program delivery team, you’ll assist with the planning, readiness and execution of activities ensuring the successful operational commissioning of the new site.
1. Collaborate with project streams and the site to finalise commissioning plans and schedules
2. Review and challenge the execution of commissioning activities, conduct ongoing readiness reviews, monitor progress, and ensure performance requirements are met.
3. Support embedding of the new DC operations and team
4. Regularly communicate with stakeholders, providing detailed and summary progress updates on commissioning progress, issues, and resolutions.
5. Ensure all team members are trained for their roles, assess training success, and work with the site to address retraining needs.
6. Collaborate with site leaders to accelerate continuous improvement, including insourcing specific activities post-go-live.
7. Work with the project delivery team to address issues and gaps during commissioning and ensure a smooth handover to DC operations
8. Engaging with the Store Delivery Team to resolve the impact of site outages on their operations.
What you’ll bring
9. You’ll bring a robust experience of working in automated sites, ideally in supply chain or large-scale manufacturing
10. Sound report writing skills as well as the ability to deliver updates to executive leadership
11. Strong experience in leadership and delivery of site commissioning at scale
12. Purposeful and forward-thinking, able to move easily between thinking strategically and tactically
13. Influencing & negotiation skills, able to effectively negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
14. Ability to thrive under pressure & remain resilient, solve problems, and maintain ownership & accountability.
