Your impact
Our bodies and environment all depend on water, it is the building block that supports all life. Water issues are becoming increasingly prominent as we struggle with disparity between water availability and demands, water pollution, and competition for limited water resources. At Jacobs, we recognize these challenges and our engineers, scientists, and planners are working together with clients to find the right solutions to their water challenges. Jacobs has an opportunity for an Associate Water Enginee r to join the team in Cairns. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent consultancy, design and engineering services in the Northern Australia portfolio - Cairns, Darwin and Townsville – as well as to the wider Jacobs business across Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate with commercial, project management and technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects within the water infrastructure andassociated markets. You will manage projects to make sure they are delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #LI-DG1
Here's what you'll need
• Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory requirement) • National Professional Engineer Registration (mandatory requirement) • Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (mandatory requirement) • Good interpersonal skills who develops others and has the ability to build strong client relationships • Understanding of industry standards and best practices • Construction Safety Training (White Card) and current driver’s license.
