About the role: In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of individuals experiencing psychosis. Your expertise and empathetic approach will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support, empowering patients on their journey towards recovery. Duties for the role will include: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with psychosis Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counselling, promoting coping strategies and life skills Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and patient-centred care Advocate for patients' rights and provide guidance on community resources Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation About you: An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Ability to provide core social work skills including psychosocial assessment, counselling, individual and group work, relationship and family interventions, crisis intervention and brief therapy. A ppropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Ability to provide occupational therapy assessments, work within a rehabilitation framework and develop and implement occupational therapy interventions for consumers within the team and area.
