About this role Come join our client’s Brisbane Risk Consulting team—a great team offering risk management and internal audit services. They’re looking for Senior Associates or Associates with some internal audit experience(advantageous) to jump in and make a difference. What you’ll be doing Take the lead on client projects from start to finish, with plenty of support from your manager. Get to know clients’ risk environments inside out and use your skills to deliver awesome results. Put together engagement plans that focus on the big risks and find ways to add real value. Run on-site project delivery, chat with clients, and guide junior team members while helping them grow. Work with managers to create sharp reports and deliverables. Use your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to tackle business challenges. Present your findings to clients and internal teams to help shape their decisions. Review and tweak recommendations to make sure they fit the client’s bigger picture. Keep an eye on budgets, track spending, and give a heads-up if things might go over. What you’ll need Some experience in business risk, business process review, or internal audit. A good understanding of control documentation and assessment. Skills in reviewing and improving business processes through facilitation and documentation. Experience managing risk across medium to complex projects. A solid grasp of controls, including creating testing docs and spotting gaps. Confidence chatting with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Great report writing chops. Top-notch listening and questioning skills, backed by analytical thinking and organisation. Team player vibes, with experience guiding and developing junior staff. A curious mind, a love for learning, and a drive to keep improving. A CA or relevant qualification (like IIA) is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
