**Job Title:** Policy and Legislation Lead
The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a Policy and Legislation Lead to support the implementation of legislative reforms in partner departments and regulators.
The successful candidate will work closely with departments and regulators to plan, design, and draft legislation in a consistent manner to deliver on the reforms identified in the Economic Growth Statement.
This role requires strong policy and legislative skills, as well as influence and stakeholder communication abilities. The candidate should also possess conceptual and problem-solving skills, collaboration and teamwork experience, and a tertiary qualification in Economics, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.

Economic Division:
The Economic Division leads the development of advice to the Government and implementation of priority projects for key economic and policy priorities including economic strategy, regulatory reform, housing, social policy, government tax policy, and intergovernmental financial relations to drive improvements in Victoria's productive and efficient resource allocation, competitiveness, and equity across the economy.
Regulation Group:
The Regulation Group aims to support the Victorian Government in growing employment, material living standards, and economic activity by supporting the Government's agenda to boost Victoria's productivity and providing advice on improving how government agencies regulate, risk and insurance policy, and local government.
