Job Summary
:
As a part of the Workforce Services team, the SAP Time Administrator forms a pivotal function in administration of the SAP HRMS system which includes the preparation, initiates, executes, input approved personnel actions including: hires, rehires, reclassifications, transfers, roster management including building and changing rosters as needed, miscellaneous input, employee changes, leave of absences, employee separation, salary action forms, exceptions to policy, hiring action forms and organization management.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain positions, resolve personnel administration and HR system issues. Apply project conditions, and allowances for craft employees and ensures policy compliance.
2. Identify issues with documents and resolve them with originator in a timely and collaborative manner.
3. Interface with Workforce Services, Timekeeping and Payroll, as appropriate to ensure efficient and smooth end to end employee transactions.
4. Process completed action documents to employee records and imaging.
5. Assist with other employee system transactions and provide back up support for Workforce Services activities as needed.
6. Maintain employee data, information and working files according to required confidentiality standards and best practices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
7. Bachelor level degree in Human Resources, plus 1 year related HR work experience
8. 2 years of experience working with SAP or a related computer system to record, monitor, and update HR or payroll related information
9. 2 years of relevant HR or payroll experience
10. Solid understanding and proficiency utilizing HR systems, work processes and policies, preferably with SAP and other proprietary HR systems
11. Applied understanding HR policies and processes, functional organizations and organizational structure
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
12. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
13. Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions with little or no supervision and be accountable for such actions
14. Ability to be proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
15. Ability and skills in the following areas: attention to detail, transaction accuracy and quality, prioritizing and organizing work transactions in a high volume environment, understanding of integrated HR, payroll, accounting, billing systems and downstream impact of HR transactions.
Additional Information:
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
