About the role As a growing region, Townsville Home Care is looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. This role involves working a minimum of 18 hours per fortnight. No qualifications? As a Home Care Worker, you will: Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping. Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities. Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed. While formal qualifications aren’t required, you will need (or be willing to obtain): A current driver’s license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle) A National Police Check. A current Flu Vaccination. A friendly, patient, and caring nature.
