The Opportunity
Our Kiteleys business is looking for an Estimating Team Leader to join the National Estimating Team based in Sydney or Bomaderry. For more than 50 years, the Kiteleys name has been synonymous in steel roofing. From its foundation in the Shoalhaven area in 1957, it has grown to serve clients ranging from individual homeowners to leading project home builders throughout NSW.
As the Estimating Team Leader, you will lead a small team of estimators, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and timely quotes. You will work closely with our internal sales and customer service teams to ensure that every project is quoted accurately, contributing to a superior customer experience. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement within the estimating processes and systems.
What Will You Do?
Working with our friendly and diverse team, you will:
* lead and mentor a small team of estimators, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring accuracy in estimates and quotes.
* provide guidance on the design concept and complete take-off’s
* develop estimates and quotes in line with business pricing policy
* foster a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing more efficient ways of working.
* collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and a positive customer experience.
More About You
With your experience in estimating and drafting or perhaps you have a building or trades background, you will be a quick learner who’s comfortable with numbers and technical drawings and computer based applications. You will bring:
* high level of attention to detail
* experience in estimating and administering in AppliCad or similar software or a willingness to learn (i.e. roof wizard and 3D modelling applications)
* good process management and organizational skills
* excellent skills in Microsoft Office
