About the role: CSR is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst for a 1 2-month fixed-term contract based in North Ryde. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with the GM of Finance to deliver critical financial outcomes, provide insightful reporting, and support the strategic objectives of the CSR team across Australia and New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical expertise, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to meaningful projects within a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyse a variety of reports, providing value-added insights for senior leadership, including the CEO and CFO. Month-End Processes: Manage journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reviews in alignment with accounting standards. Budgets & Forecasts: Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy of financial data in SAP/BW and ensure the integrity of accounting ledgers across the business. Audit Support: Prepare half-year and year-end stewardship packs and assist with external audit processes. Continuous Improvement: Drive the optimisation of planning and reporting processes, including standardisation of templates and systems. Commercial Insights: Provide analysis of business performance and deliver actionable advice to support decision-making. Internal Controls: Administer the Controlled Self-Assessment (CSA) system to ensure compliance and maintain a strong internal control framework. What you bring to the role: Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce; CA/CPA qualified. Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience in financial or management accounting, including consolidations, reporting, and analysis. Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel; Power BI experience is an advantage. Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data with attention to detail and accuracy. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Proactive Approach: Self-starter with a hands-on attitude and problem-solving mindset. Growth Focus: Passion for continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
