We are seeking a skilled Asset Integrity Engineer to join our growing team in Kalgoorlie. This role involves conducting and overseeing asset integrity inspections, non-destructive testing, and compliance assessments to ensure the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure in the mining and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Perform and manage asset integrity inspections, ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards.Conduct pressure vessel inspections and provide technical recommendations.Perform advanced Non-Destructive Testing techniques, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Testing (MT), and Eddy Current Testing (EC).Apply knowledge of API 571, API 580, and relevant Australian Standards such as AS3788, and AS2550.Prepare detailed reports with engineering assessments and recommendations.Collaborate with clients to provide technical expertise and solutions for asset maintenance and reliability.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry regulations.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent).Certification in API 510 or ACIP is required.Proven experience in NDT, including UT, MT, and EC - ISO 9712.Strong understanding of damage mechanisms, risk-based inspection, and relevant Australian standards (AS3788, AS2550).Previous experience in asset integrity management within the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industries is highly desirable.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Why Join LMATS?
