Join A World-Class Project TeamAs part of Australia's most successful private company, HanRoy has a mandate to lead the study, design, and development of a globally significant pipeline of projects that will provide ongoing supply of critical minerals and energy essential for everyday life.About The RoleReporting to the Construction Manager and Package Managers, the construction superintendent is responsible for supporting the delivery of the McPhee Creek minesite construction project. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination and execution of civil earthworks, site works, NPI works, handover, stakeholder engagement, and project closeout. The construction superintendent will be supported by construction supervisors, HSE, environmental, and engineering departments to assist in the role.Essential for this role:Previous working experience in Mining Project Execution, including engineering and Contractor Management.Minimum 10 years' experience as a Construction Supervisor and Superintendent and/or management.Minimum 7 years' experience in Contractor Management.Technical knowledge and delivery experience in civil earthworks, NPI, and infrastructure construction.Demonstrated understanding of and compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental management systems.Current Driver's Licence.Must be able to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical, including DAS.National Police Clearance.Full Australian Working rights.Ideally, the successful candidate can be based in Western Australia and be available to start within the next month.Responsibilities of the role:Lead delivery through appropriate project management and scheduling, issue identification, problem solving, consultation, and mitigation strategies.Support Project Engineers with the development of project execution plans and schedules, contracting and manning strategies, including plans to supervise and ensure adequate span of control.Partake in Safety in Design reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, and other health and safety focused activities as part of delivering projects.Investigate, report, and document all incidents and any safety incidents.Work with stakeholders to ensure all project deliverables and initiatives are executed in a timely and integrated manner, to ensure minimum disruption to surrounding land and infrastructure.Work with the contractors to develop plans and deliver fit for purpose solutions to achieve positive project outcomes.Provide relevant information to contractors, leaders, co-workers, teams, and individuals (including in meetings, pre-start, toolbox meetings, written communications, e-mail, via telecommunications, and in person).Why UsAt HanRoy, we value fresh thinking and an adaptive approach within a cutting-edge project environment.
