DFP Recruitment is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Project Officer to join one of our clients within the maritime industry based in Fremantle. This full-time role is a temporary assignment lasting up to 8 months.About the RoleReporting to the Manager of Environment, the Environmental Project Officer will be responsible for implementing and developing various projects.Key Duties Include:Managing the planning and implementation of biofuels trial.Reviewing the light vehicle fleet to identify opportunities for transitioning to low-emission or electric vehicles.Conducting electricity and fuel efficiency audits.Researching and providing advice on carbon emissions offset strategies.Supporting the electrical branch in planning and delivering photovoltaic projects.Managing the collection and reporting of program and project data.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements, goals, scopes, and deliverables are clear and agreed upon.Monitoring and reporting on project budgets and schedules.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Qualifications or experience in project management.Experience in preparing business cases and/or project justifications (highly desirable).Experience working with business stakeholders within a multidisciplinary or cross-functional environment.The ability to multitask while delivering a diverse program of works/projects.Strong research skills related to project issues.Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.To ApplyIf you meet the above requirements and would like to be considered for this role, please click "Apply Now" and submit your CV in Word format.
