The Role - Full-time - supporting the Riverina Region - Corowa, Deniliquin, Lavington and Leeton. Must live within 1.5 hours of Corowa, Albury or Leeton.
* Provide quality, clinical governance and clinical education support for residential facilities or home care services.
* Promote contemporary practices across Residential facilities to support adherence with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, legislation and accepted industry practices
* Contribute to the development and improvement of the organisation quality management system
* Respond to the clinical care and educational needs of Residential facilities as directed by, and in consultation with the Quality Support Team, Regional / Operational Manager and/or GM Care Operations and Clinical Governance Manager
Essential
* Current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse General with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
* Current driver’s license
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willing to complete same
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development
* Minimum of three (3) years post registration / enrolment clinical experience
* Experience evaluating workplace practices against quality standards, quality systems, and organisation policies and procedures.
* Understanding of continuous improvement of quality systems,
* Experience working with learners using adult education approaches
* Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise at all levels within the facility/service and work as part of a team
* Effective report writing skills
* Well-developed analytical, reflective and systems thinking and problem solving skills
* Effective time management and prioritisation skills
* Computer literacy (including MS Office, Power Point, Excel and industry-specific software application
* Availability to travel throughout the Riverina Region - must live within 1.5 hours of Corowa, Leeton or Lavington
Desirable
* Post graduate qualification in adult education, aged care, palliative care or mental health
* Use of integrated clinical management software applications e.g Autumn care, Procura.
