Document editing, publication, and archiving of documentation under applicable corporate standards in both paper and electronic formats.The role requires continuing interface with Airnorth stakeholders and with external aviation organisations and regulatory authorities on matters specific to document validation and/or publication, control, and distribution.Principal Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesDocument Editing and PublicationPlans and administers document production - from document production/change request through to distribution.Convert documents to the appropriate Airnorth Manual suite format using the technical publications style guide.Edits, reviews, and publishes corporate, operational, and technical documentation, in paper or electronic format.Tracks revisions through the use of control mechanisms including revision numbers, change highlights, change markup, lists of effective sections, and lists of effective pages.Supports editing and publishing matters in accordance with Airnorth Document Management Manual.Document ProductionAdministers the paper-based and electronic libraries of corporate, operational, and technical library of documents complying with Airnorth, aviation regulatory bodies, and aircraft and equipment manufacturers’ policies and/or standard operating procedures.Manages document distribution lists and associated processes and registration records.Audits documents to ensure appropriate change markup, link functionality, and search functionality has been applied.In consultation with the GM Corporate Services, conducts audits to controlled documentation in respect to currency, amendment status, and distribution.Manages the schedule of temporary amendments under the provisions of the Document Management Manual.Provides input to policy and procedural matters to Airnorth stakeholders on document production, distribution, and control.Maintains the Document Management Manual in respect of compliance and currency of policies and procedures.Administers the Airnorth Board Room Library and Master Library.General Administration (on a need basis)Provides administration and support to the GM of Corporate Services in relation to the position.Undertakes Project Management tasks and functions as and when required.Assists with Learning & Development record keeping in Envision.We are looking for applicants with:Knowledge of Comply365 application would be advantageous and highly regarded.Superior computer skills incorporating MS Office, with advanced word processing and publishing skills, and database operations.Experience in design, format, production, distribution, and control of publications of corporate, operational, and technical nature.Airnorth offers a range of employee benefits including discounts on international travel, health insurance, gym memberships, and an employee assistance program.To apply for this position you must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.As shortlisting will commence immediately, we reserve the right to close this position earlier than stated.About UsThe Airnorth FamilyMore than just a business, Airnorth is a part of the social and economic fabric of northern Australia, and vital to many of our clients.
