Tasks will involve but not be limited to the following:General mechanical worksWeldingBoth major and minor repairsCarrying out breakdown repairsScheduled maintenanceThe successful applicant will possess:Trade certification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical.A current rigid truck driver's licenseFamiliarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & SafetyGood communication and organisational skillsExperience in hydraulics, automotive electrics or welding is not essential, but would be an advantage, as would a forklift licence. Previous experience in a similar role would also be highly regarded.A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience.In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.
