In this role, you will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, designing and documenting solutions that align with organisational objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, document business needs, and translate them into functional specifications for development teams. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making. Key accountabilities: Requirement Gathering and Analysis - Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements (e.g. user stories) and related acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements. Solution Design and Documentation - Design innovative solutions that address business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. Create detailed functional specifications, including system workflows, future state processes, data models, and interface designs. Stakeholder Management - Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating communication and managing expectations. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to executive leadership and project sponsors. Data Analysis and Insights - Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes and systems. Mentor junior team members in Business Analyst techniques and methodologies. Participate in the identification, documentation, resolution, and escalation of delivery issues, dependencies, risks, and decisions. We are looking for: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on enterprise-level projects in medium to large scale organisations across different industry verticals. Proficient in the use of JIRA, Confluence, Mural, and LucidChart, as well as analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel and BI platforms. Experience in system/application enabled business process change. Systems analysis and/or business process analysis experience in at least 2 organisational-wide business change projects. Experience in process modelling, data modelling, and Use Case development. Experience in documenting elicitation findings into Business Requirements (Functional and Non-Functional) in User Story format including Acceptance Criteria. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements. Previous experience working in constantly changing and dynamic environments with the ability to pivot or manage pieces of work in parallel if needed. What are some of the benefits of the business?
