About the Role
The customer support representative role with have you using your mechanical skill set and technical knowledge of equipment to ensuring their fleet remains productive and efficient.
This role will support 4 mines located within 2 hours drive to the north and west of Toowoomba. The role will predominantly be focusing the Meandu Mine site which will require a minimum of 2-3 days per week on site .
The remainder of your time will be spent focusing on site visits and site support of the 3 remaining mines located in the western darling downs region .
Key Responsibilities:
* Regularly meet with mining customers to establish strong working relationships.
* Review the performance of mining fleets and problem-solve any issues.
* Use your technical skill set to undertake machine inspections and audits including undercarriage, chassis, Dump bodies, bucket and GET wear rates etc.
* Assist Component forecast using oil Analyses and various other methods of wear rate indicators
* Collaborate with customers to provide innovative solutions that enhance fleet productivity.
* Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns and work towards swift resolutions.
* Assist in planning maintenance events and forecasting resource requirements.
* Ensure minimal downtime for mining fleets, optimizing customer operations.
* Contribute to the budget planning process by providing forecasts and insights into resource requirements.
To be successful you will need:
* Possesses minimum mechanical trade qualifications
* Strong technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment
* The ability to travel as required and spend 2-3 days per week onsite
