Tasks Manage and coordinate the packing and removals team to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations Oversee the packing, loading, transportation and unloading of customer belongings with a focus on quality and care Ensure all packing materials, equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and readily available Monitor inventory levels and place orders for packing supplies as needed Provide hands-on support to the team during peak periods or complex moves Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements Foster a positive, safety-conscious work culture and provide coaching and development to team members Liaise with the customer service team to address any customer queries or concerns Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and people management capabilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Sound knowledge of packing techniques, materials and equipment Forklift and other machinery operating licences highly regarded Strong customer service orientation and communication skills Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Opportunities for career progression and professional development A supportive and collaborative work environment Applications close by 16/10/2024. #J-18808-Ljbffr
