About the Role
As an OFSAA Senior Test Analyst in our team, you'll be responsible for all aspects of quality and system testing the changes implemented against the Group Treasury System (OFSAA) platform for the APS210 Uplift. You will join the existing OFSAA Quality & System Assurance team and work closely with developers, data analysts, and business SMEs during overlapping Melbourne business hours.
This role will suit a skilled and motivated tester who has experience software testing within the banking sector and possesses good communication and coordination skills to be able to liaise with other teams and stakeholders.
An important part of this role is ensuring GT D&S meets Enterprise Data Governance standards through effective implementation of data management practices as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of data quality, operational efficiencies and managing data as a cause of risk.

What will your day look like?
As an OFSAA Senior Test Analyst, you will:
1. Perform functional and non-functional testing requirements analysis, test strategy and test plan preparation, Regression and Progression test case design, test data preparation and test execution, Defect Analysis & Defect reporting and management.
2. Maintain adherence to all Group Treasury policies.
3. Support Group Treasury in identifying and understanding the changes proposed by the Liquidity Enhancements Initiative and facilitating the acceptance of those changes.
4. Build collaborative relationships with colleagues within the Treasury Data and Systems team to enable objectives to be achieved.
5. Display knowledge of business analysis processes, testing processes, defect resolution processes, quality issues and able to provide key insights to stakeholders.
6. Estimate Cost and Time including, when required, cost and benefit analysis to support user stories and new/modified scope.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
1. A proven track record in functional and non-functional testing (ETL testing, System testing, Integration testing) and UAT Support.
2. Excellent proficiency in SQL, in particular against Oracle using client tools like SQL Developer.
3. Detailed requirements analysis experience in the Financial Sector, in particular Banking with hands on experience using test management and defect management tools such as JIRA.
4. Must have experience working with Control-M.
5. Working experience with Unix.
6. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
