The Company:

With a presence on multiple continents, their head office is based out in Sydney and is fueled for further global expansion.
The Role:
Due to the amazing growth within the organization as well as some increased demand for innovation and supply from their commercial clients, you will be situated in a team of 3 senior engineers who are currently working on an advanced piece of IoT technology for a key product being released shortly. This requires a senior engineer who is both familiar with hardware and software to prioritize and conceptualize the entire product life cycle.
Responsibilities:
o You will need an incredible level of focus and attention to detail.
o Strong capability of developing and testing cloud-based software applications and APIs.
o Engage in technical briefs and user stories scoping the client/market needs.
o Verification testing and coordinating with both hardware and software teams for timely delivery of all projects and products.
o Detailed experience working with electrical products which can be controlled via web apps.
Technical Skills:
o 5-7 years of experience working in both software and hardware commercial products environments would be ideal but not essential.
o Back-end development is written in Node.JS.
o Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture.
o Knowledge of iOS or Android applications heavily desired.
o Understanding of IoT would be advantageous and any other hardware-related experience.
o Must be confident to have open technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders so a strong communicator is a must for them.
