Role Overview
We are seeking an Indigenous Support Specialist to join our team, supporting a large software application management contract with a federal government department. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and develop a range of professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your skills and interests, you may focus on one or more of the following areas:
4. Project Coordination/Administration: Assist with planning and scheduling project activities. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes. Track project progress and report on milestones. Support project managers with administrative tasks.
5. Help Desk Support: Provide first-level support to end-users for software applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
6. Technical Support: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting. Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions. Provide training and guidance to end-users on software functionalities.
Required Skills and Experience:
7. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: project coordination, project administration, help desk support, or technical support.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Desirable Qualifications:
12. Relevant certifications in project management, IT support, or related fields.
13. Experience working on government contracts or within the public sector.
14. Familiarity with software application management.
