The Division is responsible for procurement and supply chain operations, the development and maintenance of budgets, financial management, and for providing strong operational finance and performance reporting analysis across the health service.The Procurement and Supply (P&S) Branch is part of the CFO Division and manages the organisation’s procurement requirements including goods and services acquisition, inventory management, invoice processing and delivery to hospital wards and other end users. P&S comprises four teams, Procurement Clinical Equipment, Procurement Inventory and Services, Supply Chain, and Supply Operations. P&S is accredited with Level 4 – Advanced (Lead Buyer) under the ACT Government Procurement Framework, capable of delivering all aspects of high value and high-risk procurement projects.This position reports to the Director of Procurement and is primarily an onsite role located at the Canberra Hospital in Garran or the CHS Distribution Centre in Hume.Please note selection may be based on application only. The transition will deliver a health system networked under one provider and will provide increased workforce opportunities for staff at both CHS sites.
