About the role As the Manager P-8A Service Delivery, you will work closely with a dedicated team of technical experts focused on success.
This role is primarily responsible for management and control of the contracted activities required to meet customer's requirements, with the support of various program functions so as to ensure 'Best for Defence' outcomes are always achieved across the capability.
The Manager P-8A Service Delivery is the Airbus Program focal point for both internal and external stakeholders for the integrated delivery of contracted services and for all related contractual and associated commercial matters.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Manager P-8A Service Delivery is responsible to coordinate the delivery of support services by teams/resources to ensure the satisfaction of the customers and stakeholders.
This includes: prioritisation, coordination and on-time delivery of integrated support engineering, material support & logistics and other relevant functional support for both the aircraft and its associated mission and ground systems ensuring that the contracted work scope and performance requirements are met effectively and efficiently; and establishment and management of contractual, financial, and delegated commercial processes so as to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of all Contract requirements Some of your day-to-day activities will include: Ensure service delivery of Sustainment outcomes on time, first time, every time Performance monitoring of delivery of Sustainment services by the allocated Functional teams/resources including reporting against contract performance management frameworks Internal and external stakeholder engagement Support the identification of growth opportunities and convey identified opportunities to customers and stakeholders Manage commercial aspects of contract management activity Manage and administer contracts, including development and delivery of contract changes in accordance with schedules agreed with the Commonwealth, and data management activities related to contract performance Ensure Prime and Sub-contracts efficiently deliver Program outcomes About you To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to lead and work in a complex multi-discipline team environment, have well developed stakeholder relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills.
You will need to be someone who is able to work to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
You will also have strong commercial acumen and the ability to achieve an effective balance between corporate and customer requirements with pragmatic, sound and timely decisions.
