The Role
Hudson has partnered with a high-profile government department seeking an experienced Information Taxonomist. The position will play a critical role in the development of the National Skills Taxonomy as the information manager to the project.
The Information Taxonomist will be responsible for being the subject matter expert in taxonomy development and implementation of the National Skills Taxonomy. Working with data, project management, research, stakeholder and policy colleagues the role will consist of ensuring best practice methods are used to develop a controlled vocabulary to support the information management and retrieval system of the National Skills Taxonomy.

Do You Have?
* Proficiency in taxonomic standards and tools
* Demonstrated experience with information architecture and content management systems
* Ability to analyse and synthesize complex information and data sets
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Can operate well in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable dealing with uncertainty and change, with a demonstrated ability to acquire new knowledge quickly, meet deadlines and deliver on outcomes.
