The Role
We are looking for a dynamic candidate for Sales Manager based in Melbourne, responsible for field sales, growth, and account management in Victoria and Tasmania.
Reporting to the General Manager of Sales and Revenue, this role aims to maximise sales potential within the designated territory by nurturing strong relationships with existing clients, boosting brand awareness, and identifying new prospects.
Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Manager for Victoria & Tasmania, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing tailored sales plans for key accounts to address their specific needs.
2. Strengthening relationships and achieving growth with key accounts through regular contact and informative updates, assisting them in achieving their goals.
3. Providing robust training opportunities for agents via weekly sessions, client presentations, product information briefings, and ongoing website and e-commerce strategies.
4. Ensuring effective utilisation of marketing collateral and managing brochure supply and regional distribution.
5. Identifying and developing new business opportunities, evaluating ROI of potential trade and consumer shows/events, and participating where beneficial.
6. Attending trade shows, conferences, travel expos, training opportunities, and industry events as required.
7. Maintaining accurate records of sales activities in CRM, including trainings, appointments, tasks, customer feedback, and other sales activities.
8. Managing the Sales Manager Budget cost-effectively while adhering to established policies.

16. Experience in constructing, booking, and executing complex travel itineraries.
17. Previous experience in the Travel and Tourism industry.
