mSec is Australia's largest online retail stockbroker. It is one of the most highly-visible and visited online assets in Australian financial 's systems utilise a variety of technologies and support a broad range of investors. Software engineers withinmSec are offered regular opportunities to work on some of the finest IT systems in Australia, as well as having opportunity to develop careers across different functions and teams within the wider Bank.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will bring your expertise in quality assurance, test automation, risk management, solving business problems, optimising our systems, and contribute to strategic test automation initiatives to evolve testing automation practices and tools. You will be creating and maintaining front-end and back-end automation frameworks to ensure quality and reliability of our systems. You will be embedded in a cross functional team that is self-managing with end-to-end responsibility for designing, delivering, and optimising a broad range of customer-focused oues.

6. Contributes to the design and build of the services and tools that enable DevOps and testing.
7. Ideate and build innovative tools to solve automation challenges.
8. Builds robust test doubles to minimise dependencies.
9. Influences product design, implementation and enhancement to support testability and quality.
10. Automates basic real time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring
11. Creates well-engineered, scalable and reliable test.
12. Works closely with everyone on project squads to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
13. Experience in setting up and applying test automation for large-scale applications.
14. Experience in web application testing using Selenium and Playwright.
15. Experience in API testing automation with frameworks such as RestSharp or RestAssured.
16. Experience in contract testing frameworks such as PACT.
17. Demonstrable working experience in code repository & version control tools such as Git.
18. Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
19. Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) with tools such as Gherkin and SpecFlow.
20. Experience in API testing and Blazemeter.
