Senior Technical Consultant - ECM (OpenText)
The ECM Technical Consultant is an experienced and customer-focused professional with a strong background in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions, specifically within the OpenText suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and support of OpenText’s Extended ECM platform, as well as awareness of other ECM products such as OpenText Content Manager (Micro Focus), OpenText Documentum, or Objective.
Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Design, configure, and implement OpenText Enterprise Information Management solutions, with a focus on Extended ECM and related ECM platforms, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
2. Provide expert-level support for deployed solutions, resolving issues promptly and ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs, delivering tailored solutions, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within scope, contributing to all phases of project delivery including planning, execution, testing, and handover.
5. Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation, solution designs, and client communications. Ensure stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and outcomes.
What will make you successful in this role?
Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience with OpenText Extended ECM Platform, demonstrating practical experience of the following products:
1. OpenText Extended ECM for Microsoft 365
2. OpenText Extended ECM for SAP
3. OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering
4. OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors
5. OpenText Extended ECM for Salesforce
6. OpenText Content Server
7. OpenText Archive Server
8. OpenText WebReports
9. AnswerModules Suite
10. SAP and SuccessFactors
11. Workflows
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft software including SQL Server, Windows Server and Office
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure technologies
• Demonstrated capabilities designing new products and leading programming team to deliver
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
• Requirement gathering and specification planning
• Understanding of change and release management
