About the Role
As a Customer Field Technician in Cairns, you will play a vital role working on customer service field tasks across all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous position where you will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre), including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
About You
We are seeking experienced candidates with transferable skills from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.
Requirements:
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated
* A current and clean Driver's License
* Strong and personable communication skills, both written and verbal
