We currently have a fixed term, full time opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk and Compliance division as part of a parental leave backfill arrangement. This role will be based in our Collingwood Head Office and will report to the Head of Credit and Market Risk.
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will support the Model Risk Governance requirements for all Financial Models and provide advice and support to model owners in meeting their obligations under the policy.

What you will be doing Prepare Model and Credit risk related reporting designed to meet the needs of senior executives, Credit Committee, Risk Committee and Audit Committee Work on merger integration workstreams to assist in uplift requirements in relation to Financial Risks. Complete analytics related to models, stress testing and credit risk Develop and uplift Stress Testing calculations for deployment into the Bank's Asset and Liability system Uplift current Stress Testing processes to ensure they meet the obligations of the Model Risk Governance policy Develop and implement enhancements to Credit stress testing models Liaise with the Financial Reporting team regarding governance of financial models Liaise with first line and second line, internal audit (third line) and external audit regarding Model risk related audit planning, findings and observations Liaise with both the internal and external auditors on all compliance, internal control and accounting matters related to Model risk Review and maintain Model Risk Policy and governance for registered financial models. to ensure Bank Australia is compliant with the standards required by APRA, ASIC and the Board of Directors Identify and resolve data quality issues that have an impact on model and credit risk reporting Provide financial risk advice to all areas of the business as required. What you will bring Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, economics or other relevant area. Demonstrable solid experience in finance or in a risk function, within Banking Understanding of Model Risk Governance processes Skilled in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications Thorough understanding of business process, control and best practice Challenges the status quo and implements high quality business process improvements. Exposure to other functions in banking (e.g. information technology, lending, or relationship management) would be an advantage Technical training relevant to areas of responsibility, such as FINSIA, RMA or other risk management organisations would be an advantage Commitment to Bank Australia's purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
