About Finance Branch
Finance Branch is responsible for providing Queensland Health with a range of system-level products and services with a partnering approach, to deliver financial excellence in healthcare.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Supervisor, Your role will be responsible for providing accurate and timely delivery of services, supporting the maximisation of revenue collection for Queensland Public Health and Scientific Services, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies, and procedures.
Role Fit
1. Proven ability to work within a team environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to
achieve target objectives within specified timeframes.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of, or the ability to interpret and apply, relevant legislation, policies, procedures,
and agreements pertaining to the accounts receivable function, including patient eligibility, pathology and
medical billing, and Private Practice arrangements.
3. Demonstrated analytical, investigative, and innovative problem-solving skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a tactful and confidential manner with clients and staff at all levels.
