The Role As a Project Finance Analyst / Project Cost Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in financial management, cost control, and performance analysis across a portfolio of high-value projects.
Working closely with project managers, finance teams, and key stakeholders, you will provide critical financial insights, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure project budgets align with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities Lead month-end financial processes, including preparing and posting journals, reconciling project accounts, and generating detailed reports for senior management.
Maintain financial models to track project performance, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with operational teams to refine budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure planning.
Identify cost efficiencies, risks, and financial trends, proactively advising stakeholders on potential impacts.
Manage project financials using advanced cost management tools, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and project governance.
Work alongside commercial partners to assess contract performance and cost implications.
Support strategic decision-making by translating complex financial data into meaningful insights.
About You Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in finance business partnering, project controls, cost accounting, or commercial finance roles within complex project environments.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data to influence decision-making.
Highly proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
