Electrical Technician

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, service, and modify welding and industrial equipment in-house and on-site.
What you will enjoy doing Implementing good housekeeping in your own workspace and common areas to provide a safe environment for those working nearby. Testing and tagging to current electrical standards and customer requirements. Assisting with maintaining an efficient, well-run electrical workshop, focused on diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and modifying welding and industrial equipment. Working closely with other technicians to allocate job lists and prioritize work as required. Abiding by site rules and requirements, being aware of induction and site-specific requirements. Following SPW procedures, particularly those relating to motor vehicle and mobile phone usage. Following SCIS procedures relating to stock management, including notifying the office of parts used, parts returned, and any equipment or parts retrieved from a client to be properly returned to the workshop. Maintaining a valid and up-to-date electrical license and being aware of changes to Australian standards. Performing other duties as directed by senior management. Assisting with the checking, amending, and invoicing of jobs as required. What makes you great You are licensed and competent in an appropriate Electrical field. Willingness to continue ongoing training where appropriate. You have good time management skills. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Commitment to safe work practices.
