This position not only allows you to develop your teaching skills in higher education settings but also provides the support of an academic supervisor to help you grow and gain autonomy throughout your employment.In this integrated paid work experience opportunity, you'll be involved in a combination of teaching and professional development.

This role is specifically designed for Griffith HDR students who aspire to enhance their teaching capabilities while contributing to the university's educational mission.On campus, face-to-face teaching is required and the work patterns for the part-time position is expected to reflect the teaching requirements of the role.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Foster outstanding student experiences through high-quality, student-centred learning activities.Support high-quality learning outcomes using technology-enhanced, authentic learning and assessment practices.Maintain compliance with university policies and establish positive, respectful relationships between staff and students.Enhance the school's reputation by promoting it at open days and student recruitment activities.Applicants should indicate their preferred disciplinary focus within Mechanical Engineering.These are fixed term (up to two years, actual duration will be dependent on your HDR program completion date), part time (10% or 20%) positions primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast, dependent on discipline location.
As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.Salary RangeThe full time equivalent base salary will be Associate Lecturer, Level A range $78,034 - $104,938 per annum + 17% superannuation.
The total FTE package will be in the range $91,299 - $122,777 per annum.
