The Position
1. Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production across residential, functions and retail catering for 1400+ students and staff
2. Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
3. Lead, develop and inspire a small team of culinary talents
4. Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
5. Oversee inventory, procurement, cost control and minimize food wastage
The Person
6. Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery + Food Safety Supervisor
7. An accomplished leader with a stellar culinary track record
8. Experienced with high volume bulk cooking and functions & events catering
9. Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
10. Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
11. Available to work Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability for events during the year
* A current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain is a requirement of this role
